Martin Luther King Jr.

One of the ways we celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. was by watching a video about his life on Brainpop Jr. The children really enjoyed watching the video and playing the activities.

The Brainpop Jr. link is on the Cole School Portal. You'll find it under the general category.

January is here!

Welcome to January!
It is hard to believe that 2015 is here already. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and vacation!
Below are 2 pictures of my daughter Emily. She got married to her fiancĂ© Mike on New Year's Eve! It was a magical evening and hard for me to believe that she is married now. I remember when she was in first grade like it was yesterday :)
I have posted my January Newsletter under "recent newsletters" so please read it when you have time. I will also send a hard copy home.
I hope you all have a wonderful and healthy 2015!

I will leave you with this joke....
