We can add double digit numbers using our place value charts and our white boards!
Then we check our answer with our partners!

We can play the race to 40 game ...it teaches us about regrouping!

Understand that in adding two-digit numbers, one adds tens and tens, ones and ones; and sometimes it is necessary to compose a ten.

Dr. Suess in our room!

free glitter text and family website at FamilyLobby.com                   Mr. Middleton Cox came into our room to read for "Read Across America" Day.
We chose ...............Green Eggs and Ham!

And we all got pencils!
Later we read our Scholastic News and learned all about Dr. Seuss

We enjoyed watching and listening to "Green Eggs and Ham".

Then our March groups got to choose a favorite character from a Dr. Seuss book.
We all had to agree, and then we had to all work to create a poster of that character!

This is how they came out....can you tell which characters we created?

Cat in the Hat

Thing One

Sam I am

Fox in Socks
And then.......four Masco students come in to read their books to us!
We really enjoyed that! What a great week of celebrating reading!
