Daily five is up and running in our classroom! We have learned all five centers and we are excited to begin! Each choice requires us to get started right away, stay in one spot, work quietly, and work the whole time.
Look at Connor and Megan, and Massimo and Aaliyah "reading to someone". We sit elbow to elbow and knee to knee when we read!
We love to "listen to reading". Check out Lilly, Marcus, and Trip listening on the CD player, computer, or iPad.
"Work on writing" is such fun. We can make books, cards, banners and lots more! Here are Logan, Griffin, and Dylan working hard on writing!
"Word work" is a lot of fun too. We can choose any tub we want and we have fun practicing phonics in lots of different ways. Blake, Rose, Lindsay, Stella, and Salvatore are having a good time learning!
And last but certainly not least, is "read to self"! We love having this time to explore and read the books in our book bags! See Anthony, Madison, and Bella becoming better readers!
