Fiction and Non-Fiction

We just finished up our unit on fiction and non-fiction.
We learned about the differences between these two genres.
We learned:
fiction books are imaginary stories while non-fiction books are true and factual.
fiction books have a beginning, middle, and end and must be read in order, while non-fiction books can be read out of order.
fiction books often have illustrations and drawings while non-fiction books often have diagrams and real pictures.
And ........we learned how to recognize the differences by looking at the cover of a book.
What do you notice?
